Tour Review

Due to late running caused by a points failure at Athenry on the return journey, the railtour returned directly from Athlone to Dublin Connolly via Portarlington, and not via Moate as originally advertised. This was to ensure that the ferry connection that evening at Dun Laoghaire was maintained for UK-based passengers.

The train was formed of Iarnród Éireann Cravens coaches.

202 at Dublin Connolly.

172 + 131 at Galway.
