Tour Review
Due to a derailment at
Knockcrockery on the day of the railtour, the line
between Claremorris and Athlone via Roscommon was
blocked, and so the railtour had to return to Dublin
Connolly via Claremorris, Tuam, Athenry, Athlone and
Portarlington. In addition, the final section between
Dublin Connolly and Bray was also omitted from the
itinerary due to engineering work.
The
train was formed of Iarnród Éireann Cravens coaches.
