There are a number of unlimited travel tickets for the Rail Network in Ireland. These tickets come in several versions they are 5 days travel within 15 and have different geographic areas:

Tickets available for Purchase outside Ireland

Getting to Ireland

Air

Ryan Air is the main budget operator who operate flights to and from Dublin Airport. A bus link operated between Dublin Airport and Dublin City Centre.

Rail and Ship

With the increased air competition between the UK and Ireland the rail and ferry companies have simplified the fares structure and prices have fallen considerably particularly for long distance travel in the UK. Do not consider purchasing a ticket to the port and a separate ferry ticket, this is always far more expensive. Through tickets are available by all the major routes. Concessions for Rail Staff

Free and reduced rate travel on Irish Rail, Translink, Irish Ferries and Stena Line services is available for staff employed in the UK rail industry. Check with your staff travel department. Application forms are available on the staff travel section of the ATOC website www.atoc.org.
