Tickets are now available for the DCDR 2026 Diesel Gala, which takes place on Saturday, 29th August. A highlight of the Irish railway preservation calendar, tickets always sell out, so we advise booking sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.
This year’s gala will include:
- Cab rides within the station environs
- Lineside run-pasts
- Guided Trackside access for photographs
- Locos 146, 124, G617, 450 Class DEMU 458 (and maybe more…)

The diesel gala takes place on Saturday, 29th August 2026. It starts at 11:30 and finishes around 16:00.
Tickets
Adults (18+): £40
Children (under 18): £35
Children under 4: Free
Concession (Student, senior citizen, unwaged): £35
Tickets must be booked in advance via the DCDR online ticket office.
Bus connection from Dublin/Dublin Airport
